Bill is a Smoo and he’s blue! The Smed’s drink tea but the Smoo’s like pink milk! The Smed’s have funny hair and the Smoo’s have funny shoes!! Their grandparents have forbidden them to associate with each other based purely on their appearances and cultural differences. ‘ Star crossed lovers Janet and Bill are Romeo and Juliet in alien form.’ When the boys found out which much loved author and illustrator duo created this book excitement ensued, as the boys knew they were in for an extra special bedtime story.
